Sophia Wei, MSN, MBA, FNP-BC, NP-C, is dual board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Sophia was educated in China, Thailand, and the US. She received her MBA from Stamford International University in Bangkok, Thailand, and then pursued her interest in nursing, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Arizona University.

Sophia has worked as a registered nurse primarily in acute care settings. While working full-time as a travel nurse, Sophia earned her Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner with honors from Northern Arizona University.

Sophia has a true passion for dermatology. Her warm and welcoming nature, combined with extraordinary medical skills has given her an edge to serve her patients as a dedicated practitioner. Sophia is involved in the entire continuum of care of Dr. Trimble's patients and assists him with treatments and surgeries. She is very excited to be a member of the Dixie Dermatology team and values the opportunity to contribute to Dixie Dermatology as she grows her professional practice in dermatology.

Sophia is bilingual in English and Mandarin. She thoroughly enjoys learning new cultures and has traveled to Thailand, Bahrain, France, UK, Australia, Italy, Japan, and Spain. Her favorite places are Chiangmai, Hana, and Guilin.
